Event Details
This Virtual Heritage walk will take you through the growth of the Ferguslie Cotton Thread Mills of J & P Coats. Ferguslie Mills are said to have been the largest thread mill site in the world, while today only a few buildings survive. Using maps and images we will gain an understanding of the growth of the mills which at one time employed around 5,000 people. Ticket cost is £6 only one ticket required per household as it is an online event. Zoom link will be emailed the evening before the event.
