What does Holocaust educational research tell us about effective classroom practice in teaching about antisemitism?

Many teachers struggle to address this difficult subject and to find resources to teach it sensitively and appropriately. In this webinar, two leading experts will examine the findings of educational research on teaching about antisemitism and draw out their implications for classroom practice.

The session will examine young people's understanding of current antisemitism and what this means for teachers in choosing appropriate resources for the classroom, including using literature to teach the Holocaust. The session will refer to the new IHRA Recommendations for Teaching and Learning about the Holocaust.

This webinar is appropriate for primary and secondary school teachers who are interested in deepening their understanding of this complex subject and developing their classroom practice.
