Judith will be joining us to tell the story of her mother Ursula Michel's escape from persecution in Nazi Germany, when she was just 15 years old.
Ursula was brought to Britain on one of the last Kindertransports to leave Germany in August 1939. She had just one small suitcase of belongings, and had to leave her family behind. She was sent to live with a foster family in Stoke-on-Trent once she had arrived in Britain; she settled in very happily with them, but sadly never saw her parents and younger sister again.
