Event Details
Paisley is dominated by church buildings, either in use or redundant. The is virtually no place in Paisley that you walk without seeing a church building and wonder when it was built, who used it and why its empty now. This walk will explore some of the old church buildings of Paisley starting at Sherwood Greenlaw Church on Glasgow Road, weaving our way around the north of the town, finishing at the former St James's Church on Underwood Road.
We will meet at 2pm at Sherwood Geenlaw Church, Paisley. The Walk will finish at 4pm in the towncentre
