Event Details
Lonend and Seedhill are now dominated by Morrisons Supermarket and the remains of the Anchor Thread Works. This Heritage Walk will explore the site, looking the the surviving buildings that formed one of the largest thread mill complexes in Europe, along with the much earlier small thread works and industries connected to the textile industry that existed on the site.
We will meet at 2pm outside the entrance to the Mile End Mill (Abbey Mill Business Centre). 12 Seedhill Rd., Paisley. Walk will finish at Gordon Street, Paisley at 4pm.
